Legal Notice Public Surplus Property Sale Marshall University will conduct a public surplus property sale by sealed written bid, April 3rd & 4th, 2017 of surplus property supplies and equipment. The sale will be a pod sale consisting of three pods located at Holderby Hall, 1720 5th Avenue at the rear of the building. The pods contain various types of furniture, vacuum cleaners, metal shelves, and some kitchen equipment. The sale will be open to the public from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm on Monday, April 3, and Tuesday, April 4, 2017. Registration will take place on those days at the east end of the Art Warehouse location and bid forms will be distributed at that time. Bids will be tabulated and awards made to the highest bidder by telephone. Successful bidders will be required to pay for and remove their purchases no later than 3:30 pm Friday, April 7, 2017. All items must be paid for prior to removal from university property. Successful bidders can make payments at the Bursar Cashiers office located on the first floor of Old Main Thursday, April 6, 2017, and Friday, April 7, 2017. Items bid but not paid for by that time, will revert back to university property to be disposed of according to WV State Code. Marshall University reserves the right to reject any and all bids. No warranties or guarantees are implied or given, and all items are in an ''as is where is'' status. Refunds or exchanges are not authorized.
