NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING An evidentiary hearing will be held by the Public Service Commission of West Virginia at the Putnam County Courthouse, Old Courtroom, 2nd Floor 3389 Winfield Road, Winfield, West Virginia, on July 27, 2017, at 10:30 a.m., concerning the increased rates and charges requested by Union Oil & Gas, Inc. (Union) for furnishing natural gas to approximately 6,000 customers in portions of Cabell, Putnam and Kanawha Counties. Anyone desiring to comment or protest the approval of these increased rates may appear at the hearing or file a written protest to: Executive Secretary of the Public Service Commission, P.O. Box 812, Charleston, WV 25323. The increased rates and charges Union proposed will produce approximately $793,347 annually in additional revenue, an increase of eighteen percent of total revenue (or approximately thirty percent in additional base rates). The average monthly bill for the various classes of customers will be changed as follows: Residential Increase ($) $7.70 Increase (%) 18.12% Commercial Increase ($) $32.07 Increase (%) 18.12% Transportation Increase ($) $530.29 Increase (%) 18.12% The increases shown are based on averages of all customers in the indicated class. Each class may receive an increase or decrease greater or less than stated here. Individual customers may receive increases that are greater or less than average. Fu1thermore, the requested rates and charges are only a proposal and are subject to change (increases or decreases) by the Public Service Commission in its review of the filing. Any increase in rates and charges will not become effective until authorized and approved by the Commission.
