PUBLIC NOTICE FOR BLASTING Notice is hereby given that Jaunt, Inc. P. O. Box 626, Chapmanville, West Virginia, 25508, Telephone Number (304) 855-4049 intends to conduct blasting activities on quarry permit number Q-5025- 99 located approximately 2.3 miles northwest of Chapmanville, in Guyan District. of, Logan County. All blasting shall be conducted in accordance with the dates and times unless emergency conditions dictate unscheduled detonation, blasting.will be conducted between daylight hours, 7:00 am or Sunrise, to 8:00 pm or Sunset, Monday through Saturday during December 1, 2017 through December 1 , 2018. Public access to the area prior to blasting will be controlled by guarding all access roads to the blasting site against unauthorized entry: The pre-blast ' audible to a range of one half , (1/2) mile from the blast site, and given three (3) short warning signals of five (5) seconds. duration with five (5) seconds between each signal.
