NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE OF MILTON AND OF PROPOSED ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MILTON Pursuant to Chapter 8, Article 11, Section 3 and Chapter 8, Article 31, Section 1 of the West Virginia Code, notice is hereby given to all of the residents of the City of Milton that the Council of the City of Milton proposes the second (2nd) reading, passage, and adoption of herein described Ordinance of the City of Milton, the subject matter and general title, and abstract of which more particularly appear in said Ordinance as "AN ORDINANCE OF COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MILTON, WEST VIRGINIA, RELATING TO SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT RATIFYING, APPROVING, AND CONFIRMING THE GRANT OF A FRANCHISE AGREEMENT FOR SOLID WASTE COLLECTION TO MOUNTAIN STATE WASTE ("MSW"), CONSISTENT WITH WEST VIRGINIA CODE 8-11-3, 8-12-5(10) AND 8-31-1; GRANTING CERTAIN FRANCHISE RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES AND OTHER RELATED PURPOSES." The Council of the City of Milton proposes the second (2nd) reading, passage and adoption of aforementioned Ordinance at the regularly scheduled City Council meeting to be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2016, at 7:00 p.m. at Milton City Hall located at 1139 Smith Street in Milton, Cabell County, West Virginia. A reasonable number of copies of the proposed Ordinance are on file at City Hall which may be inspected by any member of the public during the regular business hours of City Hall.
