RESERVE SURPLUS AUCTION SURPLUS PROPERTY REQUEST FOR BIDS Pursuant to the STATE OF WEST VIRGINIA VS ERIC HODGES, circuit court case no. 16F-001 certain property was forfeited to the Wayne County Commission . Pursuant to the county ordinance regarding the disposal of surplus property, on the 22ND Day of May 2017, the Wayne County Commission ("the Commission") did hereby declare the following items surplus property: QUANTITY 1 DESCRIPTION 2015 Honda CRF230F Motorcycle SERIAL NO. 9C2ME0919FR100658 QUANTITY 1 DESCRIPTION Engagement Ring/Wedding Ring Set SERIAL NO. N/A County Commission has no knowledge of how these items were used by previous owner. Both items were forfeited to the county by court order. Also, pursuant to the county ordinance regarding the disposal of surplus property, on the 24TH Day of April the Commission did hereby declare the following county equipment surplus QUANTITY 1 2003 Dodge Durango SERIALNO. D4HS38N63F540200 THERE is an undisclosed RESERVE amount for these auctions. The County Commission reserves the right to accept the highest bid even though the highest bid may not reach the pre-auction reserve amount. The Commission reserves the right to reject any and all bids. You must use the bid form supplied by the County Commission to make your bid for either item. Submit sealed bids to the Wayne County Commission, Room 104, Wayne County Courthouse, Attn: Jim E. Boggs, County Administrator, P.O. Box 248, Wayne, WV 25570. Mark the envelope "Surplus Property Bid". Envelope should also list the specific item for which you are bidding. Bid shall make note of the item description, bid amount, name, address and phone number of bidder. Bids must be received by 9:00 a.m., Monday, June 19, 2017. All bids will be opened by the Wayne County Commission in an open public meeting at the Commission's next regularly scheduled session on Monday, June 19, 2017 following the close of the bidding. If a bid is accepted, seller has until June 22, 2017 to present full payment in the form of cash or cashier's check to Jim E. Boggs at Room 104 and take possession of item. Items are being sold "as is" with no warranties expressed or implied. Inspection of the surplus items can be made on June 15, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. by contacting the County Commission office at 304-272-6350.
