INVITATION FOR BIDS The Mingo County Commission is currently seeking sealed bids from qualified vendors to provide a high-density storage system to be used in the Mingo County Circuit Clerk's Office. Specs for this project are as follows: Usable capacity for 14,742 linear filing inches of case files (approx. 118) 5-drawer vertical files; system will remain within the size specifications illustrated in the drawing (available upon request); all shelf filing openings will be of a 11.25" clear height; mobile carriages will be constructed of 11 gauge steel, be 5" in height and rated for 1000 pounds of load per linear foot, carriage of less than 24" will have undercarriage anti-tips; all carriages will have full width and height one piece steel front panels; guide rails will be 1"x1" bar stock with the ability to accommodate 4 under carriage anti-tip devices per wheel; system must be designed such that user must be able to open any aisle without needing to move each carriage individually; shelving will be of L&T design, each 11.25" high shelf opening will have 3 adjustable file dividers per face. Interested bidders MUST view the project prior to bidding and may do so by contacting Camilla Ellis, chief deputy for the Mingo County Circuit Clerk, at 304-235-0322. Bids will be accepted by hand delivery to Leigh Ann Ray, project manager for the Mingo County Commission, at her office located on the third floor of the main courthouse, Room 308-B, or by U.S. mail addressed as follows: Diann Hannah, Mingo County Commission president; Attention: Leigh Ann Ray; 78 East Second Ave., Room 308-B, Williamson, WV 25661. Bids will be accepted until noon, Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2017. Bids will be opened and read aloud at the Mingo County Commission regular meeting session scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2017. All bids must be sealed and clearly marked on the outside of the envelope "CIRCUIT CLERK SHELVING". All bidders/bids must address any/all applicable municipal taxes. The Mingo County Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any informalities on the bidding process. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid within 30 days of after the date of the bid opening. The successful bidder will enter into a contract agreeable to the Mingo County Commission.
