PUBLIC HEARING The Mingo County Commission and the Town of Gilbert, in a joint effort, have decided to file an application with the West Virginia Development Office. The application is for a planning grant from the Community Advancement and Development Component of the FY2017 Small Cities Block Grant Program for the Mingo County-Town of Gilbert Broadband Project. A public hearing will be held on October 17, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at the Mingo County Courthouse, 75 East 2nd Avenue, Williamson, WV 25661. The purpose of this public hearing will be to discuss the proposed planning application. The application will be submitted to the Community Advancement and Development Division of the West Virginia Development Office by October 30, 2017. All persons having an interest in this project or wishing to express their views are encouraged to submit written comments to the Mingo County Commission, 75 East 2nd Avenue, Room 308, Williamson, WV 25661, by October 16, 2017.
